Experiencing a Canter or Gypsy Safari in Ranthambore is an exciting way to explore the wilderness of Ranthambore National Park. The Forest Department of Rajasthan organizes these safaris to encourage tourism and provide visitors with an immersive wildlife experience. Ranthambore Jungle Safari allows you to venture into the heart of the park on specially designed vehicles, accompanied by an expert guide and driver. These safaris, conducted in Gypsies and Canters, give you the chance to observe wild animals up close in their natural habitat.

Reservation Details
- The zone will be allowed as per availability.
- Visitors can select either Zone 1 to 7 or 8 to 10.
- There are 10 Safari zones in Ranthambore National Park.
- If you select Safari for 1 to 7 Zone that means your safari will be conducted in any one Zone from all these, same as for Zone 8 to 10.
- In the case of the current Ranthambore safari booking, any of the zones between 1 and 10 can be allocated.

How to Book Ranthambore Safari Booking
To book Ranthambore safaris online you must provide details for every visitor (name, age, gender and government ID number), choose the Safari Date, Safari Shift and Vehicle (Gypsy or Canter), and pay the full amount shown at checkout. Bookings, once confirmed, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Provide visitor details: name, age, gender and ID proof number for each traveller.
- Choose schedule & vehicle: select date, morning/afternoon shift and vehicle type (Gypsy or Canter).
- Attach ID documents: Indians: Voter/Aadhaar/PAN/Driving license; Foreigners: passport.
- Pay & confirm: pay the full amount to complete booking — permit issued after payment.
Note: Zones 1–5 closed every Wednesday; zones 6–10 closed every Tuesday. Zone allocation is subject to availability.
- If you book in advance you must pay the full amount during booking.
- ID proof must be filled in for every visitor.
- Online bookings allowed up to 90 days in advance.
- Foreign nationals must provide passport details.
- Permits issued on a first-come, first-served basis; park closure possible without notice.
Ranthambore Safari Booking Rules
- Carry the same original ID used at booking and present it at the gates.
- Follow guide and driver instructions at all times for your safety.
- No blowing horns, loud shouting, or use of radios/recorders during safari.
- Do not exit the vehicle during the ride.
- Pets are not permitted during safari.
- Carry your original permit and ID; without them entry may be denied.
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your safari time for smooth entry.
